Loving it!!
Got knives from this shop for my grandsons and coworkers. Awesome shop. Thanks for the tips
I would also like to learn how the correct French pronunciation is, I hope you say it on your videos.
If you like to cook and cookwares, please take a look to Dehillerin (rue Coquillière, Paris 1er)
I guarantee you'll love it
How nice that you mentioned Hema. It’s a popular Dutch company and I’m curious to see if they sell different things in Paris.
Another great video! Merci!!
Here in Ireland calling someone a chicken is a cute thing also, usually used for affection.
Great ideas! However, if we are travelling light (just a backpack) we would want to ship things rather than try to carry them. Any tips on shipping a package to the US from Paris?
👍👍🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing this place . I would love to see and shop to this place once I visit Paris . I love this video 🌸❤️🌸, it’s awesome …cheers 🥂
THANK YOU Antoine and Colleen for all of your educational videos I was able to enjoy over and over in preparation for a mother – daughter trip to Paris I took this late June and into July 2023. You do great work and I found your tips 100% valuable to have a safe and comfortable time while in Paris. I was very intimidated with taking such a big trip for 12 days in Paris but watching your videos (especially the ones on Metro) made me feel confident. Then once I was touring Paris, it all came together and made sense because your videos made everything recognizable and easy. Plus the scams out there – I saw them and knew what to do when I was approached – Thanks Colleen! You two are the best – keep up the great work.
Firstly a big thank you!❤
We will be Paris in 20 days. This video and links are very helpful. Much appreciate it.
This is such a good video. I’m in Paris at the moment and to my great disappointment, Jacque Genin is closed for vacation. I am so sad about it. I will have to look elsewhere for food chocolates. My taxi driver was so wonderful. He was seriously compassionate to my boohooing over chocolate (not just any chocolate, but the best.) I did go shopping with to Brentano’s and spent a lot of money but I’m happy with the purchase and I know my family and friends are will love the gifts. I was able to do some early Christmas shopping.
I’ve brought back beautiful tins of cookies. Everyone loves it. Also hand creams are so beautiful.
What is ala oniva ?
Unfortunately, appart from the Saint James and Armor Lux marinière tee-shirts ( mostly made in the West of France), some (little) kitchenware and knives, chocolate and macaron and biscuits, most items you chose would be made in China (80%+) and only less than 20% made in the rest of Europe. Depressing 😢
It is pronounced "laYole" (the knives)
I’m ready to go back.
I love knives too. Have you had any issues with security at the airport in the US for the knife gifts?
Bonjour, I am French living in The Netherlands with my Dutch husband. So HEMA is indeed a great store and is Dutch, not French. Though it has conquered my country 😂. It stands for Hollandsche Eenheidsprijzen Maatschappij Amsterdam, a mouthfull right? Thank you for your great videos.
an knife? Are you sure? I may have to pay Checking baggage fee for this one knife. I don’t think any airline let you carry-on an knife. Any thing with metal has to be thinking twice… but thanks otherwise 😅😅
The expression ''papa poule'' is used to design a real kind and protective dad, just like a hen with its egg.
Stationery not stationary
love Coton Doux. Still order shirts from them back here in the states. amazing. Paris has so many awesome little shops and boutiques. Great video.
Hi guys, how’s the weather in Paris during September like ?
Great information. Wish I would have had this when we went to Paris a number of years ago.
I have an opinel knife its an absoulute piece of crap !!! This channel is more about grabbing peoples attention rather than providing quality information I guess.
Is there any way you could share what song you are using in the first part of this video? You have used it many times before, and I love it, but can't find it anywhere.
What about French pharmacies?
Fire extinguisher ‼️
❤
Bonjour I love this Chanel – me and my grandsons are coming to Paris the 3rd week of August. If you need anything from the states let me know.
Do you do videos on other cool travel destinations outsdie of Paris. I'd much rather get out of Paris if I can. I will have to explore your channel in depth. Yes, I've been to Paris but I want to get out!!
Thank you for all the tips on your channel. We had a great time in Paris and then in Normandie this week.
We have plenty of these kitchen items here in the US at sur la table stores or williams sonoma. Why carry these heavy stuffs when they add up. I usely buy scarves and beret hats that every one will be delighted for a gift. Clothing to shop at camaieu, high quality, nice styles and inexpensive. Perfume, toiletries, a big yes, and don't forget the panty hoses. OMG they are so unique, long lasting and beautiful. Got lots compliments everytime.
Hello! I just returned from the South of France spending my last 24 hours in Paris (first time in France). Thank you for recommending Boisnard & Stern for stationary – the sales assistant was friendly, graciously spoke English, and provided all the information I needed to choose just the right gift! I bought a beautiful fountain pen with accessories and a box of stationary embossed with the Eiffel Tower for a dear friend's birthday. I can hardly wait to see her face when she opens it!!!
