Hey folks! Art Basel in Miami Beach is one of the premiere contemporary art fairs each year. Fine art galleries, art collectors, and artists alike come to Miami for the first week in December to for the sand, sun, art and culture. The art fair consists of paintings, sculptures, videos, photography, conceptual art, NFTs, and more. This is one of the hottest weeks for the art market, and galleries pay top dollar for a booth at the fair.
The show took place at the Miami Beach Convention Center from November 29th – December 3rd, 2021. The original Art Basel contemporary art fair begain in 1970 in Basel, Switzerland. That grand exhibition is still going to this day, and they added the annual Miami Beach edition starting in 2002. The galleries are here to sell as much artwork as possible, and collectors are there to buy, buy, buy [cue NSYNC bye, bye, bye vid].
