Brushing talcum powder lightly in your silicone molds before pouring helps the release process. Have found it really helps prevent breakage on the more delicate pieces when you are taking them out of the molds.
amazing ❤
omg 15 min so far and the mix is not right
you should use a disposable piping bag to put the plaster in the moulds just cut a little bit off the end and throw away when done
Unfortunately, I can't like or subscribe to your channel. Just so much talking that I feel like you're wasting my time. If you did a voice over, you could fast forward through the mixing process, and we wouldn't have to wait while you find your stuff and clean up. And honestly, I don't need to watch you do the same thing repeatedly. Please consider doing voice overs. I would probably subscribe if you didn't waste my time.
Great video thanks for sharing
I like to make mine a little watery/runny so that it dont dry up on me. so a nice thin consistency works for me again just my opinion. I buy my plaster of Paris by a 25lb bag n it lasts forever it's so cheap.
ok I dont subscribe to many people but u really helped me even though I use plaster of Paris for many many years I never though of using glue in my plaster of Paris to keep it from cracking smh I tried it n it worked! but thank u for that and so I have subscribed to your page, my only comment n its just my opinion u don't have take my advice but you repeat yourself a lot you should try to avoid that like id u did it 5 minutes later and said if anybody just joined I just was telling everyone how easy it is to clean up and I will show you all how to clean it all up. 🙂 nothing bad just I know if u listen from start to finish n u hear it over n over were hear to watch n learn u already said that 7 or 8 times in a row it can be a little frustrating. but again just my opinion.
Does it dry white? I can’t tell if it’s white or more beige
Too much talking took ages to get into it!
I would put anything that needs cleaning in a bucket and pour outside instead of down the drain.
I might subscribe if you didn’t talk so much! Get with the mixing lady!
Your nice and u Rock I did subscribe
I mixed it in a paper bowl I did big and little circles it mixed well with a plastic spoon
Where do you but your molds
Very nice
Sharing is caring shared this
It's hard to open lol
Do your thing way cool
I love Art's and Crafts I have been doing it for over 30 years
Wonderful store
Start w very cold water in container you plan to mix the plaster in. I even add ice cubes so it’s extra cold. I mix in a pinch of baking soda to the powder. The cold water and baking powder slows down the hardening so it buys you more time since it sets so quickly. I slowly spoon the plaster into the water and I stir VERY slowly. These are also steps which slow the hardening down. You may not need more time depending on what your project is but because of what I’m using it for I very much need the extra 15-30 it gives me.
Thanks for the great tips & for keeping me company whilst I used my moulds! Funnily enough I found my unused yet big container of plaster of Paris that I bought last year! 👍🏼🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am just starting with using molds and found it very helpful with how well you explained the process. Thank you!
Too long to watch you stir!
Maybe if you used a bit wider container, it wouldn’t take 15 min., to stir it up.

A mulher fala demais!
why dont u pour plaster of paris into the back of that faces mold and give it more support
Just wondering what you are doing with them now?
Video was OK. Read the comments to get a few details like how to properly mix plaster of paris, remove the pieces from the moulds, etc.. I am new and have never done a project so the comments below gave me some good tips for my first project… I am concerned about my mould sticking to the plaster, not sure why we add glue? Again read the comments below for a lot of answers to your questions that came from other viewers, not necessarily from the poster. I truthfully couldn't make it to the end without fast forwarding a little bit.
Hi. At 21:00 when you found that the paste was already hardening, would it have been a good idea to mix in a few drops of water at that stage?
Also .. your releasing method is wrong my friend. You need to invert the mold and gently push from thr back.
Do you need to varnish to seal
How much glue did you put in
Would love to see a reply to these questions as I am interested in the answers
lightly dusting your molds with cornstarch helps them to release easier sometimes
I thought you were so supposed to add plaster to the water not water to plaster
I thought Plaster of Paris and water is enough but need to add glue to make a nice creation from Plaster. Thanks for this helpful video.
Hi, did you say you added glue in the Plaster of Paris? May I know what type of glue? And what is the purpose of adding the glue? I tried working on the Plastic of Paris and I made a mess out of it. It dries up so quickly. I wanted to give up after one attempt but after watching your video, it gives me hope again. Thanks.
Where can I buy plaster powder (large about 3kg )?
Just a question; can I use this as a candle holder or candle jar ?
Did you use SILICONE MOLDER?
Hilarious 😂 and a lot of great tips.. thanks❤️
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Is Plaster of paris safe to use for craft
project I mean do you have to wear a mask for the project you're doing?
the one from the craft shop could be fixed by placing it in to a layer of sand and that would keep it level
HAHAHA! I love you, I am so like you, with the eyeballing! Thanks for this video!
why would plaster paris brakes in a mermaid tale silicone mold when taking it out
